Our mission is to provide a warm and friendly environment
in which our patients can receive the highest quality
of care possible. In our office, the patient always comes
first. Our goal is to have each patient that leaves our
office satisfied with the care that has been provided.
Our History:
We are the longest continuous endodontic practice on Cape
Cod. In 1971 a progressive group of dentists and specialists
got together and created Yarmouth Professional Park in
response to the need for specialized dental care on Cape
Cod. Before this time, all specialty work had been sent
to the Boston area. This organization consisted of both
general dentists as well as the first endodontic practice
on the Cape Cod. Maintaining its position as a leader
in the community, Professional Endodontics continues to
provide state of the art treatment and facilities. Dr.
Daniel Molloy and Dr. Jitka Janicek are continually upgrading
and providing a cutting edge facility to better serve
their patients and referring doctors.
Our
Technology:
In our office, we take pride in the fact that we are
equipped with the latest endodontic technology available.
We use surgical microscopes for both endodontic and
surgical procedures. It allows for optimal visualization
of the delicate root canal anatomy.
In addition, we use digital radiography which enhances
the detail of the image on the screen as well as decreases
the dose of radiation to the patient as much as ten
times. We store all of our data digitally in electronic
charts. This enables electronic communication with referring
dentists over the internet. Upon completion of the treatment,
each referring dentist receives a treatment report which
is important in the subsequent treatment of the patient.
Our Staff:
Mary Lou McGrail has been the office manager
since Professional Endodontics started in 1971.
Since then, each new patient has been greeted
by the cheerful and helpful Lou. Her extensive
knowledge and experience helps her to answer questions
to assure that all our patients feel comfortable
with their care. Lou's numerous years of experience
managing the office as well as assisting chairside
has made her a valuable member of our team. Lou
not only works well within our office but also
throughout the Cape Cod dental community. She
has an excellent rapport with referring dentists
and their staff.
Amanda Macedo has been a valuable member of our
staff since 2002. She is not only an excellent
assistant but also has great organization, communication
and computer skills. She is always willing to
help wherever she is needed - be it at the front
desk or chairside. Amanda speaks Portuguese and
is certified to take radiographs. She is also
in charge of managing our satelite offices in
Mashpee and Nantucket.
Selma DeSouza has been an integral part of our team
since 2004. Her adaptability and ever expanding
knowledge has made her indespensible in providing
comfortable, relaxing and up-to-date treatment.
Selma also speaks Portuguese and is xray certified.
